Dumb John is a 3-person long form improv team. Our original form focuses on character monologues, game heavy 3-person scene work, heightened energy, & down home, country fried absurdity. Our last run at the world famous iO Theater sold out every single night for over a year. We were once described as: if biscuits and gravy were funny and good at improv. Big Spoon is one of the most veteran long form improv teams in Chicago. We were a house team at the world famous iO Theater for 8 years. We specialize in the Harold and the WeirdAss forms, but we can do anything. We are available for shows and workshops.
