Mike Geraghty
I’m a SAG/AFTRA actor, improvisor, and writer working out of Chicago. Originally, I’m from Reno, Nevada. That’s where I got my start, performing stand up comedy and Hip Hop music in rowdy dive bars— some of which I also worked at as the bouncer. Those were the good ol’ days. They say that home is where the heart is. If that’s true, you could probably find at least a piece of my heart stuck to the floor of Shooters in downtown Reno.
I studied at the University of Nevada, Reno, where I earned degrees in Spanish and Journalism while playing for their Division 1 rugby team.
I’ve worked hard to become a top tier performer in Chicago’s famous improv scene at theaters like iO, The Annoyance, CiC, and The Second City. I’m also lucky enough to teach and coach improv all over the United States.
You can catch me in feature films such as The Trial of the Chicago 7 and The Candyman; as well as in TV shows on Showtime, FOX, NBC, CBS, Amazon Prime, and Netflix.
When I’m not performing I enjoy playing rugby, wrestling, weight lifting, hunting, fishing, reading, and writing.
